I'm Kanareta, or just Kana. I've never been on a forum before because every time I went to one, I was overcome by fear, although I can't say why. I've decided to finally overcome my fears by joining this site!
My major interests are pokemon, warriors (although I suppose that's obvious) and anime. I also deeply enjoy science, and specifically space and aliens.

Also I was a total idiot and tried sending my introduction when I wasn't logged in and just kind of spent forever being confused because "Help what does it want from me." Has anyone else ever done this?

I plan to, just as soon as I've gotten more accustomed to things here. I want to read through some existing roleplays first, to help get a better feel for things.

I really only roleplay anime with close friends. With strangers, I generally only roleplay warriors. I do occasionally roleplay foxes or wolves, but like you, I usually stick to animals. However, I actually have made up my own unique roleplays that involve humans and have little to no inspiration from other stories or shows. xD My friends fell in love with those, so maybe I'll expand them onto here when I'm more comfortable.

While foxes and wolves are both canines, foxes have different social systems and they're smaller. It might actually come as a shock how different they are. Of course, there are similarities, but it probably wouldn't be the same.

Oh goodness. xD Well, I must say, it's always fun to look back on our past roleplays to see just how much we've improved. But yes, if you're going to roleplay foxes, I recommend doing at least a little bit of research on their lifestyle. Always good to have some background knowledge, even if you decide to change things up.

Ah. I'm personally not a fan of special powers. I like to keep my roleplays mostly realistic, though I do like touches of fantasy. Either way, have fun. xD

Some cats crave leadership and change so strongly that they will abandon everything they know and love just to have it.
This is how our story starts.
Times were harsh in Thunderclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan, and Windclan. Every cat was agitated, and tensions were high. With prey running scarce, some cats got fed up and left, shocking the others. Among these were Spiderstrike, Lakelily, Fernheart, and Breezeflight. These four cats took charge together, keeping their band of cats under control and making sure spirits kept high. When they reached this land, they thought it was massive, and could see no end to it, so they called it The Endless Land. However, there were disputes over where the cats should live, and who should be leader. Eventually, they broke off to form four clans. These are today's clans. They are...

Spiderclan. Slender, thin-furred, and as hot-headed as the sand they walk on. They live on the desert

Breezeclan. Agile and arrogant. Their heads are in the clouds. They live on the hills

Fernclan. Friendly and dainty, but strong. Sturdy like the trees. They live in the forest between two rivers

And then there is us, Lakeclan. We are well-built and sleek-furred, and keep calm when we can. We have made our home in a hollow near a large lake. While we do eat fish, it isn't our primary food source. Our first leader, Lakestar, was from Thunderclan, but most other cats that settled here were Riverclan. We aim to be as just as the cats of Thunderclan, and as keen as the cats of Riverclan.
Our territory is primarily grassland, with a small wooded area between the camp and lake.

    Cats of Lakeclan:

    Cats outside the clan

I appreciate your interest in joining, Willowleaf, but I'm going to have to ask you to narrow your cats down to three, as it gets hard to track a single person having so many. Also, I have to say no to the fox. As interesting as that idea is, it just isn't likely. There's too much of a risk that the fox would turn on them, so they'd probably kill an abandoned fox kit to keep it from starving.

Alright, I can accept your cats. I don't think Willowleaf is deputy material, but don't be discouraged! My opinion might be changed once I've actually seen you roleplay. I'm not closing the door permanently. It can be hard to judge from such a short description, so we'll see.

Well, I stand corrected. xD Deerpaw sounds adorable, Nightflower. Welcome to the clan.

She-clan for president, anyone? *I'm sorry my sense of humor is awful*
I should add a tom cat of my own to remedy that.

Wavestorm rose from her nest as the dawn light filtered into the warriors den. She stretched as she padded out of the den, then sat down to lick the scraps of moss from her fur. Once she was satisfied, she shared a quick word with another warrior, then padded over to Deerpaw. "Hello, Deerpaw," she greeted.

Wavestorm blinked, sensing something was amiss, however, she didn't question it. She was probably imagining things, anyways, and she was eager to head outside. "We'll be hunting just past the dead tree," she explained.
